Mostly known for her roles in Hrishikesh Mukherjee s Golmal and Basu Chatterjee s Khatta Meetha , Bindiya Goswami caught the eye of others, and debut in Jeevan Jyothi and Mukti , 1976. Later, she worked with Ramesh Sippy in the film Shaan but it thudded at the box office. Bindya was born on 6 th Jan, 1956 in Rajasthan to Venugopal and Dolly Goswami, she married director J.P.Dutta for the second time and has two daughters. After her marriage, she bided goodbye to the film industry but she designed the costumes of her husband s films such as Border and Refugee .
